Pete Pichaske

Nature photography combines three of my passions: creativity, traveling and hiking. While I love journeying to faraway places and shooting storied sites, such as the cloud forests of Costa Rica or sunrise in the Grand Tetons I get as much pleasure shooting more prosaic local sites closer to my Maryland home, such as the waterfowl at Blackwater Wildlife Refuge on the Eastern Shore or fall in the Shenandoah Mountains. I've found there is beauty to be found in all of nature, if you look close enough.
